Art for art's sake?

Random messages about art. The painting is to be found in a post office: Art doesn't speak until spoken to and art solves nothing...

The other sign is the name of a gallery now closed. That figures with such a name. In defense of art I must say that it helps us dream, react, externalize, internalize. To me it is like the consolation of a far away friend.

  1. Tumbleweed,

Can you please type out the whole message on the noticeboard?

Even with my glasses plus a magnifying glass I can't read every word.

It seems to be common knowledge that 'every age has its charm', but I can only feel that - together with the condition of my body - my senses are more and more speedily deteriorating.

I'm desperately looking for a way to be able to accept this.

    All suggestions are welcome.

    Big hugh,

    Rockcastle.

  3. Yes, it works.

Not only is my sight failing, but even my brains don't seem to be working properly any more.

I always click on pictures to make them fill my whole screen, but for one reason or another I've never tried clicking on the ones in your blog.
